Bring On The Celtics

Now we know who the Pistons will have to beat in order to get another championship. I thought the game seven between Boston and Cleveland was alright, but not an instant classic like everyone seems to think. Now I'm ready for the Pistons to go into Boston and steal one of the first two games from them. I hope that after two series that went 7 games, Boston will be tired and the Pistons will come out firing, until Tuesday night.

In the hockey world tonight is the night that fans will finally be able to know the matchup for the Stanley Cup. I'm taking the Wings in a 4-1 game with a strong performance by none other than Ozzie. Two goals and assits by both Zetterberg and Daytsuk.

Tigers still suck so nothing new on that waste of time.

I thought this was one of the funnier videos I've seen in awhile

Impressive drinking skills, could've at least got some clear water for it though

Maybe even more impressive

Hosed

Yeah the Wings got screwed on that last game but no need to worry. Tigers are still sucking. Power Rankings are still stupid. Gotta get to my golf league, c ya.

Nothing like your mom trying to stick up for you when you finally make it as a pro athelete

Old clip from back in the day before Tom Green got old quick. Reminds me of my friend Adam when he started a landscape business and would go right up and undercut the other company who was just there to get their business.

Gotta love washed up comics who can't handle an idiot reporter

Maybe the best Price Is Right clip ever

Ahh Tuesday The Day That Nobody Really Cares About

Glad to see Daytsuk jump on the Dallas Stars neck last night. The series is over and all we have to look forward to for game 4 is whether or not McCarty will come out and get into a fight with somebody, probably not.

King Ugly was at it again last night. The Celtics continue to play horrible basketball away from the Garden and better find a way to win on the road soon because their going to lose at home either against the Cavs in this series or in the next against the Pistons.

Speaking of the Pistons they are on tonight and should put the series to bed with a 20 point win over the Magic. The Tigs are also back after a few days rest and lets hope they can get their pitching going with Nate Robertson on the bump.

Good Day!!

Two things I don't like - Comcast and a pitcher who has one great year and goes downhill after he blows out his arm for throwing 100 mph heaters. Where is Matt Anderson by the way?

Here is another great athelete commercial. I wonder how much these guys get paid for this crap, I would probably do it to though. Is is just me or is Ogden the first black guy that can't dance?

You have to love how calm this guy is when you know he wants to go crazy and freakout.

Classic video making its way around the net of Bill O'Reilly freaking out. Make sure to watch the whole vid because the ending is priceless.

Finally

What a good weekend for any sports fan with both the NHL and NBA playoffs in full swing. I was glad to see that both San Antonio and Utah were able to comeback and even up each their respective series at 2-2. Should make for some good t.v. during the week.

The Pistons had a great coaching performance by Billups errr Flip and were also able to go up 3-1 coming back to the Palace. They also have been given the ammunition to put the Magic out of their misery with a guarantsheed by none other than the superstar that is Jameer Nelson.

Don't know how many of you that visit this site are big golf fans but it is always fun to watch the pros take on number 17 at the TPC. I hope to one day be able to play that hole, probably never will, but isn't it great to see a pro look like an average golfer for just one hole?

Should be on with a post almost everyday this week unlike the past few weeks, so comeback and I will also have a new poll up for everyone to give their two cents about something that really means nothing in the end.

Don't forget Wings are on tonight. No need to worry about the Tigers ruining yet another day because they have it off.

A Lacrosse highlight actually worth watching?!?!

Ahh high school atheletes

Don't Forget Your Moms

Glad to see the Wings didn't miss a beat last night and continue the trend of putting the puck in the goal multiple time. Franzen also had another goal to make it to 12 (pretty sure), he will need 7 more to tie two other at 19 for the most goals scored in a playoff. Just so you know, the record for points in a single playoff is 47 by of course the great one, Wayne Gretzky.

I'm not in a mood to bitch today so I won't mention the Tigers. I really hope that Billups can get back after trying to do the splits in game 3. That really looked painful.

If your a big hockey fan as well check out the Eastern Conference finals between in-state rivals Penguins and Flyers. Should be a great series.

Have a good weekend and don't forget the best part about it.

Is It Football Season Yet?

I know this time of year is great for any fan of Detroit sports teams and I shouldn't bitch, but alas. I'm really getting tired of all these pre season polls for the upcoming college football season. I really could careless about what any writer thinks a team will be ranked and do, because to me college football is the most unpredictable sport of all.

Last year had to be one of the craziest of all and this year will probably no different. The talent across the NCAA is great and I really like seeing teams like Navy go up against teams they should never beat and win while making its way to a bowl game. There is also the great Appy State and their victory over the Wolverines that had me lost in my mind trying to figure out if I was dreaming for weeks.

I'm sick of going to any sports site or popular magazine/newspaper site and seeing Mr. No Name with his great picks like he has a crystal ball in his pocket. I doubt that this guy has had time to evaluate all of the recruits that will be coming into ever program. I know I base most of my insight on recruits by going to Rivals or Takkle to see what they say and I'm sure that is what these guys do when basing who they think will be good or not, that is shitty.

So basically these guys are making a list based on recruit rankings from another list and what the teams have done last year and I have to read this crap in the spring during playoff basketball and hockey while the baseball is just getting started? All I'm asking is to save your worthless list that will mean nothing 6 games into the season, until mid to late summer. Everyone knows who the best teams for the most part are in college football, USC, LSU, OSU, Georiga, and (insert team you like) and we all know the BCS system will work it all out in a fair and reasonable fashion. There will be enough talk about football when the season is upon us, so lets wait until then for the list.

Now a few quick vids

Poll Results Are In!

Thanks for all the lazy bastards who weren't too lazy to click on which GM of the four pro sports teams in Detroit they would want to run their team if they had one.

Here were the results:
Joe D - 15 votes
Ken Holland - 16 votes
Dave Dombrokski - 29 votes WINNER
Matt Millen - 2 votes

I'm glad both Mr. Ford and Mr. Millen himself are both regular visitors to my blog, because we all know they are the only people who would want Millen to continue on with the rain of terror he has caused for Lions fans, no offense (I only have so many readers and don't want it to go down to 3 from 5).

I find it pretty funny that DD was the GM picked by most because of what everyone thought the Tigers would be doing this year with his off season moves. The Tigs better get it going soon so you voters don't look like idiots. I still think the Tigs will be fine and the division is playing horrible with them only 3 1/2 back.

As for Joe D. and Ken Holland, their teams are right where everyone expects them to be, in the hunt for a championship! I really think the Wings will for sure win it all and the Pistons will make it to the finals have a tough series against the Hornets with them pulling it off in 7.

Tigs are on tonight against Boston and hopefully they can get a win streak going to get back to the .500 mark.

I have not decided what to do the next poll on so if you have any ideas please email or make a comment about what you think would be a good one.

Here are some great pics of the mans/ping pong room over at Dreamers house. Nice.
