Add Kevin Borseth To The Coaches Blowing Up List

Here is a video of the Michigan women's basketball coach Kevin Borseth. He wasn't very happy after his teams loss last night.

Its Just Snow People

I still don't understand why Michiganders can't seem to drive when it snows four or five inches. It never fails that people continue to land in the ditch and rear end everyone when it snows out. We Michiganders should be the best at navigating through the white stuff but continue to dissapoint. Now that I'm done ranting, the wings are on tap tonight to take on the Sharks. I'm hoping that they can at least show some life and get out of this ditch they've been in. For time and tv schedule click on the link with the wings schedule to the right.

What is up with MSU basketball by the way?? I'm not a state fan, but I thought they would at least be a top ten team this year. They have proven me wrong and continue to lose on the road against ranked opponents. Drew Neitzel has to be slamming his face into the wall about as much as he is clanking the iron right now (a lot). He has lost a lot of money this year, hope he has learned some french while at MSU because he will be going over seas as soon as this year ends.

Slow day for any good videos, but I still do my best so check them out.

Always a good time anyone records a prank on a friend.

Hopefully After This Souja Boy Will Go Away

Here is a new video that just came out from that one and only great prison that makes its inmates dance like puppets for their enjoyment. They are doing the Souja Boy dance this time with some MC Hammer as well. Hopefully this is the last time I have to see this played out dance. I hear they treat their prisoners pretty bad at this prison and if you want to see a video about it click here. Anyways enjoy the dancing puppets!

Dropping F-Bombs on Jeopordy

No this is not from an SNL skit. Somebody was able to record a young man dropping the F-Bomb on Jeopordy. I had to post it.

Goodbye Friend : (

Well the Wings didn't make any big moves on the last day of trading in the NHL, but were able to add a decent defenseman that we did need. With our best player Lidstrom coming back soon with a few others I can see the Wings being just fine and returning to early season form. I'm also glad they didn't mortgage the future for a rental player of one year that doesn't guarantee you a cup. I think the biggest thing for the Wings will be the play of Zetterberg and Daytsuk. They must return to the form of early in the season for this team to make a run.

The big story of the day is that the great Sean Salisbury will be leaving ESPN. You can find the story here. I didn't like Salisbury that much at the beginning of his career but eventually came to think he was a decent football analyst. He is also known for putting pictures of his wang on his phone and showing it to the ladies, so he gets props for being a funny dumb ass.

I always wondered what would happen, to those guys that bounce on trampolines and dunk the ball at halftime, what if they bounced to hard? I don't have to do that anymore because this guy below has answered my question. Thanks man!

Thoughts About The Recent NBA Moves

I decided to wait a few days and take a look at how the players traded before the NBA deadline played with their new teams to rank the trades on best to worst. Without further ado here are my rankings for the best to worst trade that went through.

1. Dallas Mavericks obtaining Jason Kidd - I have already seen the improvement instantly from obtaining one of the top guards in the league. In only a few short games with the Mavs Kidd has become the floor general he always has been. No look pass here, rebound quick pass there, and always close to a triple double come fourth quarter. Kidds transition to the Mavs has been seamless and has given more opportunities to the great shooter dirk. He will also be able to dish the ball to Howard at the rim for a quick alley-op anytime. I really believe that the a great guard is needed for anytime to make a run and the playoffs and with Kidd at the helm the Mavs should meet up with the Spurs to decide who will be coming out of the West this year.

2. Cleveland Cavaliers getting Ben Wallace, Wally Szczerbiak, & Delonte West - At first I thought this was just a move to try and calm down King James from getting mad about every other team pulling strings and adding players. Now a few games in the trade seems to be much more than that and has put the Cavs right back up there with the Stones and Celtics. Wallace was horrible in Chicago where it was probably the worst fit of any team. I see Wallace getting more rebounds with defenders coming off of their man to go after James. He will also get a few more baskets in the paint because of this. They were also able to unload Larry Hughes and his contract, but did pickup the overpriced contract of Wallace as well. In the end I would rather have Wallace's contract. Szczerbiak is also a great shooter who has yet to return to the form he once had with the Timberwolves. He will also feel the affects of playing with Lebron though and get more open looks than he was getting with the Sonics. In the end I see the Cavs losing to the Celtics in the second round. This move will make the team better and Lebron happy for awhile but he will still end up in NY with either the Nets or Knicks unless the Cavs do more in the coming years. Don't forget the Yanks hat he likes to were Cleveland fans.

3. L.A. Laker finally getting Kobe a another star with Pau Gasol - Kobe is still in L.A. despite the soap opera the media wanted everyone to watch, but everyone knew wouldn't lead him going anywhere. I used to be a Kobe hater but think he is the best player in the game when he is on fire. With the addition of Gasol and Andrew Bynum getting healthy the Lakers could be the spoiler in the West come playoff time. Gasol is a good addition to play against the other big men in the West with Bynum at his side. If Bynum comes back and is playing with the energy he had before getting hurt I can see the Lakers at least getting to the second round depending on who they play in the first (Mavs or San Antonio they will lose). Kobe is playing through a torn ligament in his finger and knows that without him there their team will sink out of the playoffs in the close playoff race the West has going on.

4. Phoneix Suns winning the services of Shaq Diesel - Even though the diesel they got could be compared to the old broke down one you see for sale at the corner with a cardboard for sale sign on it, Shaq has brought some energy that I didn't think he had left. Looking at the past few games though it is hard to see that Shaq will make the Suns that much better after being stormed off their home court by the Pistons. I believe that the Suns may have been better off without Shaq, but the Matrix wanted out of Phoenix and this was the best they could do?? I don't think the Suns will make it past the second round just like Shaq's old friend, Kobe, but if they are able to get more out of Shaq than he was giving in Miami they may make it to the second round. If I were however ranking by most entertaining player acquired Shaq would be #1.

I know there were a few other trades in the NBA with Mike Bibby going to the Hawks, Kurt Thomas going to the Spurs, Bonzi Wells & Mike James going to New Orleans, and the blockbuster that is Juan Dixon coming to the Pistons. While I do think that all of these acquisitions sure up the depth of the teams they are going to I don't see the Hawks making a run with Bibby or any of the other players having as big of impact as the trades I ranked.

In the end my prediction for the finals this year: 4-2 Pistons over the Mavericks

Turn Your Blinker Off Lady!!!!

Sorry for all the people out there who have been coming to the blog and seeing the same post for the last week or so. I haven't been able to update it daily like usual and have comeback to continue bringing you stuff that really doesn't matter.

Anyways, I have a whole bunch of thoughts about the trades before the deadline in the NBA but have not been able to check them with my experts buddies such as Bill Walton and Steven Screamin A Smith yet. I will have those up in a few though.

Until then here are a few clips of people who can't drive worth a lick. With the recent snow and ice I think I've seen many of these drivers out and about on I75 or 69 latley, enjoy!

How Do Fans Pick And Choose Their Villians In Sports?

This week had to be one of the worst weeks in history for the national sporting scene in a long time. With Roger Clemens making a fool of himself in front of congress, Roger Goodell meeting with Senator Arlen Spector about spy gate, Kelvin Sampson again being confronted with not just minor recruiting violations but many first degree violations that had plagued him at Okalahoma, and evidence that the greatest homerun hitter of all time did in fact test positive for steroids in 2001. These situations are bad for their respective leagues and you would think it would hurt them.

The funny thing about all of these events is that they will pass very quickly in the overall scheme of things. Once the NBA playoffs and baseball starts its season people will talk about the issues that have gone on in the sports, but they we still show up and watch the games from home. The same can be said about any scandals during any season or time, it will only be a matter of time until fans move onto the next season and another sport to forget the troubles of the others.

Just look at baseball. One of the greatest pitchers and hitters of all-time have both been proven (in my opinion) to be users of illegal enhancing drugs, but at the same time attendance for baseball is at an all-time high and looks to have steady growth in the coming years.

The NFL continues to grow and dominate the sports world besides soccer. No matter the arrests that follow many of the great players in the league - Michael Vick & Pac Man just to name a few, they will continue to sell-out at most stadiums and will draw the biggest audience in the world at the Super Bowl every year.

The thing about all of this is that the players and coaches who are caught and prosecuted and then ask for forgiveness from the public are welcomed back with open arms and treated like none of the past ever happened. I believe that anybody should be allowed a few chances to turn themselves around and show people that they can change. The hard part about this for me is that we will hold up people like Andy Pettitte, Bill Belicheck, Jason Giambi, Randy Moss, , or any other athlete that has done wrong and shouldn't be looked up to.

People will sit there and say how much they hate T.O., Rasheed Wallace, Pedro Martinez, Chad Johnson, Sean Avery, Lebron James, or any other athlete that is good against your team or you just don't like because they showboat or shoot their mouth off. Yeah maybe they go against what you think an athlete should be as a team player, but what are the laws and rules they have broken throughout their career? I bet many fans would say they hate T.O. more than Andy Pettitte or Jason Giambi who are proven cheaters and have owned up to it.

I find it amusing how fans of today will say they hate this or that player because of the way they act on or off the field while they break no laws or harm anyone. Then thy will say how much the RESPECT somebody like Pettitte or Belicheck who are cheaters. Yeah we should take it easy on these guys, but yell every insult in the world at the others who have not cheated or broken laws.

It's hard for me to take anyone serious that will backup a cheater who ask for forgiveness and crucify another athlete just because they aren't the cookie cutter shape of athlete they prefer.

No Love For The Big Man

With the NBA dunk contest coming up at the all-star break I figured everyone could use a few good videos of the future champ for this year's contest, Dwight Howard. I'm a big pistons fan, but one of my favorite players in the NBA is Howard who I think will be better than Lebron James in the future. He is still developing and very young for a athletic big man who has the ups of a guard.

It is always hard for a big guy like Howard to get any credit for his dunking abilities because he is so tall and makes it look easy, but take a few looks at some of his best dunks of his career and the other video of him getting ready for this years contest and you'll see that he doesn't have the typical big man ups. On the last video check out the dunk at about 2:00 minutes - I'm sure he will pull it out during the contest.

Getting ready for the '08' contest.

At Least We Got Football

Posted by Beautiful Dreamer

Well Saturday was kind of a shocker when the Michigan Wolverines basketball team beat Penn State. It used to not be the norm to see Michigan losing on a consistant basis, but times have changed and we stand at 6 wins and 17 losses right now.

It doesnt look to be getting any better in the future as well.Maybe this is a transition year with John Beilein coming in, but with the previous 2 Mr. Basketball players in Manny Harris and Deshaun Simms on the team why are they so bad? It may be that the 15 year old Fab Five still is big enough in Michigan to recruit from the state, but unlike Michigan State who not only gets good players from the state of Michigan, they also get 5 star recruits from around the country. I am not quite sure when Michigan Baskeball will be able to be a contender in the Big Ten again, but i know this.

There is a better chance of Michigan State football getting better then the wolverines, then the Michigan basketball team getting better then the spartans. Neither one looks likely to happen anytime soon.

Going Hunting, Bang!!!! Bang!!!!

I'm going up north this weekend and won't be around to post anything earth shattering like usual. Here are a few videos that I hope you enjoy while I'm enjoying shooting birds with a shotgun. Beautiful Dreamer is also in the works on a post about the Michigan Basketball team and how bad they are and whats next for the program. See ya!

This video is just to get me pumped up for the hunt. I actually look like I've lost a little weight since last years hunt.

Here is a perfect example of road rage and why you should try to be a considerate driver. It is also amuzing when a stupid person, that could've kept going about their business with no problem, is punched out by somebody who didn't want to argue or fight in the first place.

Just to show you that I'm not about violence or guns, here is a blopper video of a skier that may need to sit down for a little while. Please turn volume up for full effect.

Couldn't Of Done A Worse Job If You Tried

At least the news reporter held it together after the screw up. I'm also glad to say that Kevin Everett has been able to make great strides in his recovery so you don't have to feel bad about the screw up. This event especially hits home with many Lions fans who know the story about Mike Utley and his injury that left him paralyzed from the chest down. Check out Utley's foundation at http://www.mikeutley.org/ he has been able to live his life to the fulliest even after his injury. He is a true hero in today's world that is overlooked as time goes by.

Thoughts About Super Bowl XLII

Eli Manning and the Giants were able to overcome the mighty 18-0 Patriots and Mercury Morris with the rest of the 1972 Dolphins cried with joy! I was totally wrong about this game and would've put my money on the -12 spread, but luckily I don't have a bookie. This game wasn't the best for the highlight reel, it was won and lost in the trenches with the great play by the Giants defensive line lead by Justin Tuck (should've been MVP) and Osi Umenyiora.

It is no suprise though that the MVP award went to Eli Manning, marking the first time in NFL history that two brothers have won a super bowl and the MVP award in back to back years none the less. With all the pressure that has been on Eli over the past few years and living in the shadows of his brother and father, Eli does deserve praise for playing the game smart and not making mistakes throughout the post season. I still will never be able to get over him crying when the Chargers drafted him and he whined until they traded him.

The biggest loser of the Super Bowl was not the Patriots, Tom Brady, or even the great Hoody, it was however Tiki Barber. After leaving the team for the bright lights of hollywood, Tiki proceeded to trash the team, Eli's leadership, and the coach. Now look at them Tiki, I'm sure that all of the players in the locker room will be sending one big thank you card and some pictures of their new rings.

One of the best moments of the night didn't even happen during the game, well sort of. After the Patriots had their last shot and the ball hit the ground Bill Bellicheck ran out onto the field with one second left. I guess once Bill decides the game is over than that is the way it is. This guy is a great coach but a true jerk and he continues to prove it time after time.

All in all I thought that the super bowl was a good one, not great. At least I was still watching the game in the final minutes unlike years past. I didn't really care what team came out the winner, we all knew that we would be hearing about it all year from either the Boston or N.Y. fans. Just be glad that we don't have to hear about an asterisks next to the Patriots championship. Over the past few days the media covered that more than the big game itself. I'm sure will be getting our filling of it from ESPN in the off-season, but you can at least be happy that it will only take up 30 minutes of Sportscenter instead of the 45 minutes it would've if they pulled it off.
