Fantasy Football Advice

With Fantasy Football right around the corner it got us at Detroit Drive-Bye wondering what we were going to do for our fans.

First we decided to make our own Fantasy Draft Cheat Sheet. The plan is to finish the Cheat Sheet and have it ready for anyone to print off by August 1st. Sometimes finding that easy to print Cheat Sheet is not that easy, and who wants to spend 8 dollars on a magazine now a days. So keep an eye out for it on here and we will have it up as soon as we finish.

The second thing we decided to do is offer our Fantasy Football advice. Draft questions, keeper questions, and sit or start questions. Pretty much anything you are looking for a second opinion on we will help you out. Both myself and K-Philly are very knowledgeable when it comes to Fantasy Football so anything you may want to know just e-mail one of us and we will give you a response within 24 hours. Just label the e-mail "Fantasy Advice". Our contact information is in the right collumn.

Feel free to contact us throughout the entire season because we know how it is when you have a couple players to decide on starting and just want a little advice.

Good luck to everyone in their Fantasy Drafts and we look forward to hearing from you.

Almost Time

I know the NBA and NHL finals are both still going on right now but to me it seems both those series are already over. The Wings will probably close out Pittsburgh in game 6 Tuesday and the Lakers now with a 2-0 lead will probably win in 4 or 5.

So with hockey and basketball about to come to an end it got me to thinking about some fantasy football. I am very excited for fantasy football because I have Matt Forte in 2 keeper leagues and I expect a lot out of him this year.

So I found a video of some insight for next season and I thought you guys may enjoy it, cause it's never too early to start talking fantasy football.

Like Christmas Again!

It is so nice to sit at my computer once again and keep hitting refresh over and over to see whether or not my fantasy team can win the game for me. Also I love the smack talk and having something to look forward to other then the Lions every Sunday.

As I'm sure many of you out there are aware of how bad the Lions looked against a very suspect team in Atlanta. I really just don't understand why they can never turn the corner - Millen!!! We continue to suck in the draft and don't even have our first two picks out there starting!?!? Just take a look a the good teams in the NFL who make the playoffs. Even with their great teams they are still able to find picks and have them starting on a team that is better then the Lions.....

It shouldn't get to me anymore being a Lions fan all my life but I'm not a sports fan from Atlanta or Carolina who could give a shit less about their NFL team. I'm a Lion fan and I want them to win a Lombardi Trophy someday. I know this is probably not realistic at this time with Millen wasting draft after draft and Marinelli blowing smoke up everyone's ass at his pressers.

As for the Wolverines, they still looked like a team in transition with a new football coach and complex system. I'm still hearing the fans on the radio talk about the recruiting class and how he is trying to make square pegs fit in round holes, yes that is true in some ways. I understand that every once and awhile they can line up and run right at the defense but in the end will doing this for one year help the program down the road? No it won't.

This team is very young and all the experience they get now learning and running the offense will only help us when we continue to get the players in here that are needed for the system to be the most effective. Understand Michigan fans this team is very very young and they would be the same for Llyod if he was here. For as bad as it looks though Notre Dame still looks worse and I think UM can pull it off once again against the fat guy.

Go Blue!!

One more little note before the vids. I was sad to see Tom Brady go down and this issue has been covered more then enough. I just wish him luck in his comeback and know he will be fine after having the same injury to both of my knees.

Mike and Mike on Monday Night also suck. They should just let Ditka be in there by himself. I bet he wouldn't even talk sometimes and just let people watch the game without an annoying voice every second of the game.

What would it look like if NFL players had a fantasy football draft? The Washington Redskins will show you. (Longer video but well worth the watch for any fantasy football player)

Here is a highlight from the Georgia/CMU game. Great play by Knowshon Moreno who may be up for the Heisman this year.

Suck on that Frechy!!!

If you haven't already seen or heard the news yet the Olympics have started and the U.S.A. is taking it to the world. I was up late last night to check out the U.S. relay team in swimming. It was one of the better events I've ever seen in the Olympics.

The French team was the heavy favorite for the event and talking all this smack in the papers about how they came here just to beat the U.S., didn't go as planned. In the final league of the relay Jason Lezak (U.S.A.) was about a full body length behind the French. The announcers were had pretty much concluded the U.S. would lose and had began to talk about how Phelps would not be able to go for the record 8 gold medals.

Just as they are coming down the finally lap (don't know what they call it in swimming, sorry. Update: it is called leg) Lezak starts to glide through the water as if swimming for his life like I used to do in my pool after I saw the Jaws movie. Just as both swimmers are within feet of the finish Lezak stretches out and edges out the French by hundredths of seconds.

One of the best moments of the Olympics and I'm sure will be the talk of the day around the country.

GO U.S.A!!!!

I have also stopped watching the sideshow that is the Detroit Tigers. Since then they've managed to sweep the Oakland A's. I will continue to not watch as this move seems to both benefit myself and the team, your welcome Leyland.

Had a fantasy football draft yesterday and Reggie Bush better have a great year because I have bought into the legend that he was in college $$$$. FF drafts are very fun for anyone and I encourage anybody who is big NFL fan to get in a league.

The only thing about FF that I hate is when people cheer against their favorite team so that their FF players can get points and win. I know there is a lot of money in FF and that being a fan, especially of the Lions, isn't very rewarding but I just don't see how you can call yourself a fan of any team when in reality your just a sellout.

Peace Out

I bet their are a lot of people out there who can imagine one of their friends being this stupid
