I know I have been hard on Matt Stafford, but after seeing this video I was impressed. I Still don't know if he is what Detroit needs, but more stunts like this and I may consider not being that mad when they draft him.

Personally I think that at that distance, and with those large plates you or I could have done that. The bigger challenges with targets are at the skills competitions, when they are at 30 yards, 40 yards and then the long 50 or 60 yd post pattern. My opinion anyways. Also since nobody has done it yet.
Dear Mr. John Madden,
It is a sad day in football to know that you won't be calling the game anymore. At my not so young age, all I can remember is Madden giving his two cents. We have made fun of you for countless things, the bus, the food, Brett Favre, and still you never came back at us. You put your name and voice on the Best Video Game Ever, and then in turn created your own curse, that somehow only Favre was not subject to. Conspiracy, maybe. I was too young for your coaching days. I have just seen highlights. You were the face of football for longer then many of your fans have been alive. You were the most marketable figure for the NFL ever. I thank you for everything you have done, because of you the League is what it is. I cannot imagine the first half of my life without Madden being an everyday name. Again, Mr. Madden, thank you.
