The Wings have started this Stanley Cup just like they did last year winning the first 2 games at home. Another convincing win, and another Crosby crying show.
The Wings went down 1 in the first period but rebounded to score 3 unanswered goals throughout the rest of the game. The one thing that makes me mad about game 2 is the fact that Malkin got an instigator penalty which should be an automatic 1 game suspension, but of course the NHL loves Pitt and would not let them lose there best player for game 3.
Kudos to Zetterberg for beating the crap out of Malkin after Malkin came at him with his stick (I guess the NHL didnt see that).
Game 3 is tomarrow and Detroit plays good on the road, I am predicting a 4-2 Detroit win and 2 boxes of tissues for Crosby's tears at the end of the game.

Crosby is a big baby but I do agree with the NHL and that Malkin shouldn't of been suspended. I want to beat the Penguins with their best players out there, even though Datsyuk won't be playing.
Penguin fans seem to be the biggest whiners after they got most of the calls throughout the Washington series.
I just think if it was any Red Wing player that would have got that penalty, like Zetterberg the NHL would have been like "Rules are rules and he's out 1 game".
I believe the penguins prevailed in the end. Say what you will about Sid, but Pittsburgh still defeated the Wings. Don't be jealous that no Detroit players lead the league in scoring. It's ok, maybe next year.
Oh, and by the way, I believe he is celebrating in this picture. I'd like to see the picture of him crying. Try again.
Hey congrats to the Penguins they were the better team I can admit that. Crosby didn't do anything in the finals but he will still have that big C on him for crybaby.
Malkin is awesome and I can respect him. I don't respect a captain who doesn't go and shake Lidstroms hand or won't talk to the media after a loss.
Wings will be back again next year and hopefully Lidstrom won't have to play after having surgery on his balls. Also a heathy Datysuk would help but that is what happens when you have to battle in the Western Conference.
Enjoy the cup now because the wings will have it back again next year.
I wouldn't put the wings as victorious yet. The season didn't even start and the Pens will have virtually the same team next season. Shall we say best of 3 seasons in the finals. Then we will know who the better team is.
Crosby is a cry baby, If he was a real man he never would have left game 7. Big whoop you guys won a cup. is that 3 now? Pittsburgh sucks and so does crosby.
Detroit lost that series, Pitt did not win it.
